Websites and Shopify stores, built, fixed and kept fast
I build and fix websites and Shopify stores, make them load fast on a phone, and make search and filters find the right thing. Then I keep working on them every week, inside your own store admin, with your team.
What I do
Building
A new site or store when you need one: clear pages, product and service pages people can scan on a phone, and a path to buy or to ask for a quote that never makes anyone hunt for it.
Fixing
Most sites are not broken in one big way. They are broken in many small ones: a template that shows the wrong price layout, a contact form nobody receives, a collection that hides half its products, an app that left code behind after you removed it. I find those and fix them.
Making it fast
Speed is mostly about what a page asks the phone to download. I look at every file your pages load, cut what is not needed, shrink what is, and move what can wait until after the page is readable. Then I measure again on a phone connection.
Here is that work as a drawing that builds as you scroll: the pages built, the broken parts fixed, the page made fast (with this page’s own load time, measured in your browser), and filters that find the right thing.
A drawing, not anyone’s real page.
Search and filters that find the right thing
When a customer types a product name, a size or a part number into your search box, the right product should come up first. When they filter by color or size, the options should only show what is in stock and actually matches. I tune search terms, synonyms, product data and filters until they do.
Signs your site needs this
- Pages take a few seconds to show anything on a phone.
- Customers search for something you sell and get no results.
- Filters offer choices that lead to an empty page.
- Every small change needs a developer and a week of waiting.
- Apps you stopped using still load code on every page.
- The site looks fine on your computer and broken on your phone.
How the work runs
I work inside your own store admin, theme and tools, with your team, every week. There is no handoff to a stranger and no project that ends with a site nobody maintains.
The work is monthly. It can be a few hours a week or a full seat on your team, and you can stop with 14 days’ notice. Website work usually sits next to the rest of your online side: getting found on Google and in AI answers, automation and dashboards with a weekly recap.
Want a quick reading first? The site check looks at your home page right now and shows what it finds, in plain words.
Questions owners ask
Do you only work on Shopify?
No. I work on websites and on Shopify stores. Many owner-run stores use Shopify, but the work is the same idea on any site: make it clear, make it fast, and make it easy to buy or get in touch.
Will you rebuild my site from scratch?
Only when that is the better move. Often the faster path is fixing what you already have: the slow pages, the broken templates, the search that returns nothing. I tell you which one I would do first after I look at your whole online side.
Can you work alongside my team or my current developer?
Yes. I work inside your own tools and with your team. That can mean taking a list of fixes off your plate, or taking on the whole site while your team stays focused on the business.
Why is my Shopify store slow?
Mostly because of what your pages ask the phone to download: oversized images, scripts from apps you stopped using, fonts and widgets that block the first paint. Making it fast means finding what your pages load and cutting what they do not need, then checking the result on a real phone connection, not just on a fast office computer.
How is this priced?
Monthly. After I look at your online side and you and I talk, I send one monthly price. The work can be a few hours a week or a full seat on your team, and you can stop with 14 days’ notice.
